Whisky Delta 94 - August 5, 2014Brewed for Lakewoods 2nd anniversary, this take on a classic berliner weisse is aged on wine casks with black currants. Pours a cloudy grapefruit-like pink with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon zest, wheat, fresh blackberries and grape must. Red grapes and dark berries are prevalent in the taste along with lemon peel and a highly effervescent mouthfeel. Finishes slightly tart with lingering grape notes. 3.6%ABV
