Pours a dark copper with a very thin head. Smells of dark fruits and yeast. Tastes of plum, raisin, candied apples and slightly of yeast. Feels smooth and dry. You can feel it evaporate off your tongue. Very little funky taste and almost no aftertaste. Not my style but fairly good.

Not bad.. Smooth, lite, hint of fruit and spice that I can't put my finger on..probably 3.5 stars cuz it's better than most tripels and not as hoppy, yet not as memorable as the La Trappe Dubbel and Quad.

Has nice wine/beer aroma. Fruity taste at first and then blends to bitterness hop flavor. High alcohol taste as it goes down but not to powerful. I wish I had it sooner than later. I love Trappist ales!!! P.S. I tasted apples, grapes,

Good beer. Nice and floral. A bit "fizzy" for my taste and not as dark as I expected. Good kick, too ... or was I on an empty stomach?
