In the glass it looks like a rum and coke. Smells like wet wood. Taste like wet wood, tobacco and caramel. Interesting and it actually kind of works. Thin, with a light carbonation. A nice surprise for me.

Having a draft "La Rossa". Guess it's the Doppio Malto

Malty not Hoppy - thank god!!

Very toasty malt, a little sweet for my taste.

More lively and interesting than a mass produced beer should be. Very refreshing. If one knock a tad sweet.

For a 7.2 abv beer, this one comes off a bit watery for a dopplebock. Hints of licorice and prunes. Nothing I'm too excited about but very sip-able with a meal.

A nice Italian amber. Not bitter.

Real smooth and wine like, not sure maybe just me but overall really enjoyed it's unique flavor.

Not what I expected. I drank it at a macaroni grill which also wasn't really what I expected. I had a good night though. This was the start of it. Flavor isn't fantastic but it went well with my chicken and mushroom canalonni or whatever the hell it was

Warm and malty without being too heavy. Hickory chocolate taste with a little cherry. What the cherry ale should be.

Pours red with Amber head, tastes great, poured into Pilsner and let settle, sat back and enjoyed this beer fully
