Very good dark beer. A slight sweet taste. Definitely full bodied. Worth buying again.

Love this one. Malty. Caramel. A bit syrupy. Awesome drinker.

Pours a dark reddish brown. Huge 2" pillowy head. Aroma of coffee, caramel malt and dark fruits, prune. Thick and creamy. Taste is same as aroma, with some malt sweetness. Slightly syrupy. Almost too much malt taste. Malt bomb!

Smooth and dark

Good, drink a lot. Pours with little head, a little bitter up front but finishes smooth.

Malty sweet with alcohol warmth makes this a perfect beer for cool fall night.

Great dark fruit aroma and flavor. A great beer from a great brewery.

Light bitter start, going to a nice bitter to a sweet syrupy ending. Like the bottle says, the dunkles starkbier (strong) brewed under purity law 1516. Hast to be a starndard
