Smooth malt flavor with a slight hoppy finish, full flavor. Nothing is missed with this beer.

Yum! I really like this. Nothing crazy. Nothing funky. Not trying to reinvent the wheel. All of which is fine, but so is just making a tasty, enjoyable beer. This has a nice balance of malt and bitter for me. Easy to drink. Some cocoa, some toastiness...smooth.

Nothing special.. Below average black lager.. It's missing the maltiness and roasted flavor that quality schwarzbiers have..drinkable but not memorable.. Just expected more complexity from a collaboration brew..2.5 stars

Nice malty front and really light (lager) close to porter. Ashley: A

Not very complex. Like a dark bud light. Pretty bland with some roasty flavors.

I've been on the website since they started, and god damnit I expected more than this. It's exact same thing as Guinness Black Lager, which I wasn't impressed with either. Oh well, KCCO
