Lived up to the hype. We could only buy 2 bottles in my area and I scarfed my 2. No regrets

It lives up to the hype. One of the best balanced beers I've had. Great overall flavor. It is highly recommended

Absolutely incredible, might be the best beer I've ever had. The bourbon up front is astounding and the chocolate aftertaste leaves you wanting more. Well worth the hype!!

Chocolate then oak and coffee let it sit for a while to warm and taste more flavors

4-12-13. Pours dark with a nice tan head. Head thins quickly but lingers. Nice dark malt aroma. Full mouthfeel. Hints of caramel, toffee and definitely coffee and chocolate. The alcohol is hidden quite well but hints of it can be tasted. Chocolate and dark fruit flavors hang around long after the drink is finished. I am generally not a fan of bourbon aged beers but this one I really like.

Strong, but doesn't taste like liqueur. Light coffee with strong chocolate finish. Would work well with a scoop of ice cream.

Make sure to drink it close to room temp. and WOW...a perfectly precise balance of bourbon and oak, without going too far to any extreme. The alcohol taste is wonderfully subdued. A solid stout that commands attention.
