Strong alcohol is masked by some interesting flavor. Dark and overall a smooth taste

A nice but strong dark ale that seems like a thin stout. Much of flavoring of a stout but not so "chewy". Actually very pleasant to drink . More coffee than chocolate flavor.

APPEARANCE - 1-finger head that dissipates. Dark, opaque, foamy. Some lacing.
AROMA/SCENT - Malts, coffee, sweet.
TASTE - Sweet, coffee, chocolate, caramel.
MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Some carbonation. Smooth, creamy, warming.
VALUE - 8-oz. draft for $9. Why be so skimpy with your portions?
OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - Like drinking a Chocolate Yoo-Hoo Belgian Tripel. Nice, but gimmicky beer like Evil Twin.

Smells of chocolate and alcohol. Has a great coffee taste with hints of dark chocolate. Very boozy-In a good way! Perfect for a cold winter night.

Like a stout. Dark. HUGE coffee flavor up front. Malty and a little sweet. Good!
