C+. Very bland taste and an odd flavor. Smooth from the tap, so not a bottle problem, but not a good beer. Had again in 2021, tasting a 2016. Very much like an aged Bigfoot, B+ or A-.
Had the 2016 in February of 2023. Still boozy, woody with caramel an A- to A rating.
Had a 2096 in 2024 and it was bad, wet cardboard, poured it out.

Beautifully complex, malty, heavy,
big-taste beauty

Abv is 11 not 9. Very caramely and syrupy. Close in flavor to Old Gaurdian. Pours very amber and thick.

It's very candy sweet. It tastes like hard alcohol. I don't know much about Barleywine.

A tasting, porter meets brandy barley wine. Delicious and potent (10%), which also gives it a less than desirable odor. But very sip-able

Wow, huge toffee-malt flavor, like drinking a Heath bar. Awesome barley wine.

Not bad for a barley wine... but barley wine is nasty!

Hints of Chocolate, brown sugar and slight caramel in aftertaste. Just as good room temp as cold.
