bockboy@att.net - August 10, 2017C+. Very bland taste and an odd flavor. Smooth from the tap, so not a bottle problem, but not a good beer. Had again in 2021, tasting a 2016. Very much like an aged Bigfoot, B+ or A-.
Had the 2016 in February of 2023. Still boozy, woody with caramel an A- to A rating.
Had a 2096 in 2024 and it was bad, wet cardboard, poured it out.
basixbmx - January 7, 2013Abv is 11 not 9. Very caramely and syrupy. Close in flavor to Old Gaurdian. Pours very amber and thick.
