Higgsyboy - January 8, 2014A bit more recognizable of a red ale, but not entirely for the better. The colour is a nice deep amber and the aromas hint at some piney infusion, but the hops, though not terribly strong, aren't very well balanced, giving an unpleasantly burnt taste. Pouring it from bottle to glass is not the right approach with this one. Either sip from the bottle (and ex the aromas) or have on tap.
