Roasted malt, oak aroma. Vanilla wood flavor.

Good stout with an after taste of Irish whiskey

The best of the Innis and Gunn selection. Nice stout flavor profile without the heaviness. Just the right whiskey overtones.

Full flavour stout with the classic whiskey taste, very rich and smooth

Good and strong whiskey flavor, just not totally my taste.

Dark brown with a decent foamy, beige head with poor retention. Chocolate and bread aromas with a bit of oak. Smells a bit boozy. It is lighter-bodied than anticipated with a balanced finish, having more drying depth than typical I&G beers but with a very fizzy/tingly over carbonated mouthfeel. Not creamy at all. Flavour is sweet with a hint of molasses, but is fairly boozy, with faint traces of caramel and cola tastes discernible as I grow accustomed to it.

Solid stout, not too thick, tastes warm, very evident whiskey aftertaste that doesn't step on the beer flavor. Sweetness of whiskey and oak barrel taste compliments typical stout flavors. Less chocolate & coffee notes. After taste very much like having a bit of Jameson.

Pours dark brown with a rather hefty head, mostly because I poured hard after thinking it was flat. The large bubbles stayed around awhile and left a nice ring as I drank. A good scotch ale flavor, but the whiskey doesn't really jump out at me, which is perfectly fine, as many barrel aged beers are very overpowering. Would definitely drink again

It is a beautiful marriage between the Scottish stout and the distiller Irish whiskey. You pick up the subtle floral taste and scents of the whiskey and they compliment the bold and strong taste of the stout absolutely amazing
