30OCT14, Apt
22oz, large snifter
Pours black and creamy with quick brown head that dissipates. Has an odd toffee flavor. Almost great but a hint off. Weirdly like antiseptic/alcohol wipes. Flavor is quite strong with mild toffee. There's some good molasses and a mild coffee to balance the sweetness. Pretty good.

Fast dissipating head. Dark brown, nearly black color. Coffee and chocolate smell. Smooth mouthfeel and minimal carbonation.

No carb, smooth. Mid-big bodied. Bitter from malt, coffee, vanilla... Maybe it's the doughnuts? slight sweetness. Well balanced, very slight alc aftertaste. Flavor lasts. 4.15. Originally a 4.25, but I had a bottle recently, and the ABV stood out more

Thick and viscous. Brown head. Perfectly perfectly balanced. Sweet, some good bitter. Delicous. Nice linger after. Super smooth for 11.5. Chocolate melted in my mouth

Not sure what "doughnuted" means, but a very nice imperial stout. Strong bitter chocolate and coffee notes. You can tell its boozy, but not overwhelming. Probably dangerous after 2... Had at PP 3/21/14.

This wad delicious. Creamy and sweet, but not as sweet as it sounds, balanced by nice bitterness. Lots of chocolate coffee taste. Yum. On tap at Ave Pub, January 2014.
