Good but not special enough to warrant $16 a bottle... 6/1/14 Bomber 4 stars Revisited: a bit too sweet, downgrade to 3 stars. 11/27/16, 16 oz can.

Soy sauce on the nose, molasses on the tail. Too much alcohol.

A real sipper. Pretty powerful. Almost felt like it was separating in my mouth.

Excellent for a few sips. But forget drinking a lot of it!!!

No carb, smooth, creamy/oily. Sweet from malt, coffee, toffee. Flavor gets more complicated as goes down. Some hippiness gives way to alcohol & burnt oats. Balance is nice for an imperial, especially with a 11.5% ABV! Like the body % sweetness. 4.25
