Malt/bread smell. Initial malt flavor followed quickly by a nice citrus hop finish that is average on bitterness.

Resinous and piney notes lead the way without leaving too much lingering bitterness.

Excellent, full taste. Not a strong "IPA" flavor
albertsong7 - May 26, 2015
Kind "heavy" for an IPA

Good but expensive most bars pour as a 10 oz pour.

Tastes and smells like weed.

Love how they went right to the line with the hop strength but didn't go too far. Great stuff.

Bottle was 6 months old, earthy hops and some malt sweetness, mild bitterness. Pretty good. Bottle, August 2014.

The Illinois has a huge citrus bite forward, with a nice malty sweet middle. Finish leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste, which is the only negative in this otherwise very nice IPA.
