BIGTIME - November 14, 2013Solid brew, true to the Dubbel style, if a bit sweet. Best drank on its own and well chilled
bugs318 - June 24, 2013Pours a brownish red body with a slight head. Nose of figs, dates, and anise, though as that mellows brown sugar and hints of booze are evident. Taste is sweet and almost cloying, while notes of anise, sugar, and a touch of warmth come through. The body is a bit light. Nothing special, but certainly drinkable, though it gets a bit too cloying and syrupy as the pint-sized bottle diminishes.
