Pours opaque dark brown with a nice foamy caramel head which flattened to a thin covering but didn?t dissipate completely. The roasted malt comes through in the nose along with some small hint of fruitiness (perhaps stone fruits). Taste has a fair amount of roast with a bit of bitterness on the palate. Fairly low level of carb on tap, but still has a crispness with each sip. Mouthfeel is thinner than I would like and don?t get the coffee and cocoa tones that I usually like to be pretty dominant in my favorite porters. Nevertheless, a solid beer.
