Light Amber color. Hop forward - citrus.

Initial taste is good; but there's an aftertaste that hangs around that leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. Not sure how much they move here, so it could be age.

Decent DIPA, nothing noteworthy or too distinctive about this one, but it does come at a nice price.

Decent mouth feel. Not as much hops as expected for an imperial ipa.

Lacking a distinctive malt taste and a little too floral and citrusy for me and IPA beers. Mouthfeel is a little thin and aftertaste was a bit sharp. Not balanced, but not too bad. Just not in keeping with some of the great IPA beers out there. Second beer (months later) and it is much better balanced.

Nothing special - bitter, hoppy, lacking in malt structure Second bomber - not as bad as I remember. Malt is pretty good - really tasty. Upgrading to 4 stars. 3rd time is a charm... Malty, a little bitter on the finish. Still 4 stars. 9/26/16 Bottle 4 stars
