Hoppy, but not overly aggressive. Delightful malty aroma.

Really enjoyed this IPA. Good balance and hoppy finish. Bottle July 2012.

Good everyday pale ale. Dark amber and hoppy without being too bitter. One of Philly's best beers from their best brewery by far.

Very good IPA. The bitterness doesn't linger like some IPA. One of the most complex taste to date

12oz into pint A: light amber white a two finger off white head. Thin film of lacing A: Tons of citrus and fruit. Grapefruit is the dominant note with hops. I notice a bit of caramel. I really hope this isn't oxidized. T: grapefruit isn't present from the nose and I'm noticing more of honeydew and a bit of rind. I don't really notice much bitterness or hoppiness. There's also a good malt backbone. M: Light body and quite a bit of carbonation. Very easy to drink and goes down easy. O: I shouldn't like this, but I don't. It's not bitter enough and the caramel aroma isn't typical of an IPA, but I like it. I would call this a pale ale more than an IPA

Wow, complex and balanced! Strong bitter hops like I love. Intriguingly spiced. The sweet note is stronger than I would like because I abhor sweetness in my IPAs, but it is really not overpowering. IPAs this good are far between!
