Tropical hop aroma. Beautiful Amber yellow clear beer. Goes down easy. Super cheap compared to other imperial IPAs (4.99 vs. 8.99). One of my favorites.

One of the best IPAs ever. Hoppy. Sweet. Great.

Slightly sweet aftertaste with great hops

Lives up to the name. Good job Lagunitas. It's got the whole package, not boozy at all for an double imperial. Awesome balance, Thank you. 5 stars. (popped a top)

11/2/15 - Bomber into pint glass. Pours a golden / light Amber color, slightly darker than a typical IPA. Small head with no retention and light lacing. Light mouthfeel and carbonation. Aroma is pine, citrus, resin and hops. Taste is same with a resinous bitter hoppy finish. My first double IPA and it didn't disappoint.

Light, notes of citrus and slightly dry.

Very hoppy as the name implies. I had to try it but I am not inclined toward hoppy beers.

Great mix of hop and sweet with the perfect ferment of lagunitas.
