gadgetman - April 22, 2014Starts with a pleasant pine-y smell, fluffy head, very dark color. Moderate bitterness, creamy mouth feel. Delightful, hearty but not heavy. I'll pop open one of these when I put up my Christmas tree.

D-Nuke - November 24, 2013Delicious blend of an IPA and stoudt. Full mouthfeel makes you think you are eating this beer rather than drinking it. Some may not like that fullness, but I loved it. Smooth blend of hops with a unusually thin aftertaste. Hints of chocolate and...prune? Great dessert beer.

J.J. - June 15, 2013Tastes of hickory/ chicory in the beginning and then your mouth adapts. Extremely bitter black IPA. Feel it in the back of the tongue. A strong IPA. Worth a try if you like black IPAs. Tried bottle. Pairs well with a sweet pork dish

Higgsyboy - May 31, 2013Hops and malts blended to perfection! This is a stellar Black IPA. I crave this one periodically. It's a mild black, weight-wise, with nice coffee aroma and taste, but the carbonation, bitters, and aroma make it always drinkable. A great beer from a great brewery.
