superdeckman - February 9, 2015Okay barley wine. Pours dark with big fluffy head. Nice smell coffee and raisens. Tastes as it smells not to boozey and fairly smooth. It's not giant but drinkable. Session barley wine ?
aaf145 - February 9, 20152012 edition... Great fucking Barleywine.. Berkshire dominates this category.. Subtle spice and fruit presence but minimal bite..... Almost a subtle variation of their raspberry strong ale which really set the bar high for myself now in terms of strong ales and barleywines..4.5 stars.. Went down so easy it was scary
Cowboy Mike - January 1, 20142013. Something does seem a little off. Far from the normal barley wine flavor profile. The spices used to make this a holiday offering jar with rest of the beer. There is no taste of alcohol and none of the normal sweetness of a barley wine. Absolutely horrible after any other beer, if you have one make it the first of the night.
