aaf145 - May 21, 2014Just Average.. Smooth for an English brown I guess.. Lacks flavor though. Description talks about malt and chocolate.. Not getting either.. Kind of a let down
Jrriley - April 6, 2013On tap at the brewery. No head,black like a porter. Not much in nose, a little sweetness and maybe a hint of chocolate. Little more carbonation than most beers but it actually enhances flavor. Definitely on the malty side but nicely balanced. Described as brown ale but it tastes a little closer to a lager. Nice medium body, slightly cloying; nice session, sipping beer, not to be drank too fast.
