Had bottle marked 15/01/2015 on 10/27/17. Time was not kind to it. Flat rusty licorice. Still drank more than half the bottle because it?s a Belgian dammit!

Older bottle. Not exactly sure which year, but this could be as early as 2011. Opened in 2016. Definitely portrays elements of an older beer. Some light oxidation, which surprisingly only adds to the complexity. Herbal, slightly sweet, the malt, spice, and dark fruit flavors dancing perfectly together. All in all a nice, complex, balanced brew that's showing its maturity nicely!!

January 2015 bottling. Amber brown with foamy, modest, head. Subdued nose with predominantly malty aromas. Medium full bodied with black skinned fruit and malt flavors. Abundant carbonation balances it all out quite well. Good stuff.

A-. Very complex and smooth beer. Dried fruit and malt flavors blend well.

Large head that lingers, strong raisin smell. Taste has hints of plum/raisin with an almost metallic aftertaste. Smooth beer overall
