Verdict not out. Smells great. Tastes... Pear undertones.

Brownish-red color. Nose has some sour cherry notes; sweet with medium cloying, port-like; sipping this very much at room temp; woody, sweet cherry flavors, very nice; this is a great meal beer, to sweet to drink fast and more than one would be too much but a great beer

Smooth and crisp. Sweet malty flavors, fruity undertones with a mellow finish. Great beer

Smells like a big malty caramel apple. Thick malty effervescence that coats the tongue. Sweet caramel and raisins abound. Slightly sour apple / citrus fizzy finish.

Rich dark red color with a big tanned head. Aroma is big and hits right from the bottle. Light malt with hints of cherry, cola and chocolate. Flavor is rich and medium bodied, matching aroma with more stone fruit and mocha. Smooth start & off-dry finish. Sweeter than most Trappists, but still complex and enjoyable chilled or room.

Sweeter than I was expecting. Nice beer. High alc. vol. but satisfying.
