Strong coffee aroma and upfront flavor with clear hop bitterness on the back, beer is a bit warm, would be better colder

Not what I expected from description as a "brown ale". More like a porter. Good flavor.

Great example of an aggressive brown ale. Not my favorite style but typical of madtree's brilliance. Huge coffee notes and chalkiness.
