Poured a dark amber with light fluffy head that slowly falls. Some hints of lace, but light. Had a nose of yeast and bread with hints of a nutty aroma. Tasted malty with just a hint of chocolate malt and a mild bitterness. The mouthfeel was of a medium bodied beer with a light crisp to start and a touch dry at the finish.

Really solid English Brown with more flavor than most in this style. Still not as bold as an American but good.

A nice brown Ale, darker in color than some others. Very light toasty aroma and the flavor of toasted nuts. Not bitter but a little dry with a medium mouthfeel.

Very smooth Brown ale. Better than Newcastle. In 2018 had it in a can from a Von?s Grocery. Did not taste as good as first time in a bottle.

Very smooth. Don't be scared by color. Brown Ale is not heavy at all

Pretty good brown ale though not as complex as desired. A little brighter than expected. However, fairly good finish with some sweet notes of caramel.
