Portland, ME
Has a grape nose, with a grapey taste. Old ale, like a barley wine

Slightly bitter at first taste but then quickly goes smooth. Not bad to have especially after your first beer.

It's ok but like the other Geary beer it's strange. Style is kinda in the middle

Appearance: Gorgeous ruby red, one of the reddest beers I have seen in the hundreds I have tried. Tan to gold-beige head that leaves at a medium-fast pace. Very little quantity of elliptical lacing. Aroma: Mild and semi-sweet with faint but deep caramel notes. Body: Medium mouthfeel with a semi-creamy quality. Flavor: First double-sip is very hop-bitter, but tastes three and onward are more balanced while still maintaining a fair amount of hop-bitterness. Semi-sweet medium maltiness. Overall: Convincingly English and a nice reminder of some English ales I have had. 4/5 for the category, 3.5/5 for my BrewGene sorting purposes.

My favorite beer. Full flavored. I always say it's a meal more than just a drink. Complex, rich flavored and aroma, with a nice head.

Great ale, very strong but still drinkable. Geary's best beer.

Gumballs at the beginning clean butter hops to finish. Maybe a weird Belgium pale ale?

Reddish strong ale. Not too bitter. Goes down smooth for the strength.
