Decent orangish-ringer amber with white head of but slight retention and no lace. Nose wafts caramel and some diacetyl and nuts, while flavor is lightly bready up front with a dry tea-like and faintly grassy finish. Decently dry to be delectable. Moith is medium light but with only faint carbonation. A decent standard!

An exceptional English Ale, with a good bold taste. Semi sweet bitterness in the palate that I find irresistible to resist. Cheers from sunny Southern California USA! 10/8/13

Tried at British airways club lounge. Served quite warm

Stronger flavor than a lager, but not as hoppy as an ale.

Very smooth ale, not real heavy

For a lighter beer, I say it's got good body, and flavor.

Lovely combination of malt & hops, neither dominates the other. Like marriage
