Malty but without the burnt taste. No coffee notes or chocolate. Just malty.

Medium body, hints of fruity but it's not dominant. Unfiltered. Trace of clove on the finish. Easy to drink, though it is on the heavy side for a hefe. After adding lemon, the lemon takes over. Dude next to me says that beer in Germany is always served with lemon. I think it compliments nicely and the acidity dances on the tongue, but I wanna drink beer for being beer.

Pours a hazy brown with 2 fingers of tan head. Light and lemony on the nose, which carries through to the flavor. Not much new since last time. Great summer beer, with some intense citrus.

As mentioned, heavy banana flavor for a hefe. But pretty damn good. Would have again.
