A challenging porter with a medium-full body and strong spicy notes. Upfront black pepper, cinnamon, and hints of capsaicin. Bitter middle and finish. A good solo beer but tough to fit into a drinking session or to finish the night.

Very dark pour with a small tan head which very quickly dissipates to a light lacing. Hints of butterscotch in the aroma but not a strong smell. \n\nTastes of some of the bourbon, hints of coffee and and sweetness of vanilla are the primary flavors. \n\nLiked this a lot and felt the ABV after a pint, but only try if you like a bit of bourbon booziness.

Very good, local beer

Really delicious. Sweet and slightly hoppy. Dry aftertaste. Nice porter- beware more than three of these will make you more dangerous ;-)

First taste, high alcohol kinda smacks your palate. It was hard to decipher the rest of the beer. It's just not a beer for me. Draught
