This is so solid. I could absolutely see myself drinking this coffee, sour, pancake-y(??) stout with my corn flakes

Wow. Smooth and thick, perfect bitterness and sweetness. Like eating dark chocolate and chasing it with cold brew coffee. Equal parts breakfast and dessert.

Finally tasting this beer in the right setting with the right approach. NOT a barrel aged stout, so so not expect the sweetness, intensity or alcohol burn. Having said that, still very enjoyable. Coffee dominates the nose. Good, complex, roasted coffee. Like a good morning cup. Chocolate backs it up. Some bitterness, roasted/burnt aromas. I pretty much described the taste above, follows the nose. Very smooth. Refreshing. Somewhat creamy. I think the oatmeal gives this an interesting texture, some kind of flavor there as well, but need to try more oatmeal stouts. Very roasty, a bit of bitterness but subtle. Chocolate at the finish. Finishes a bit thin. I always expect a fuller, richer, stronger finish. Not there. Doesn't linger too much. Not my favorite, but worth picking up a few packs each season.

Thick stout, sweet and sticky aftertaste leaves your lips sticky. Overall a great stout, burnt chocolate flavor, coffee notes too.
