The oak taste is very distinct but not gross. Good beer for special occasion

Way more oak than I was expecting. And the vanilla is so heavy it almost taste like it was aged in rum barrels. In spite of not being what I expected, this is a damn good brew. It's well balanced between hops, malt, and oak. Definitely worth having.

Frothy head reminiscent of Belgian lace. Brilliant coppery hue. Beautiful, floral, aroma with a touch of hops. Excellent balance. Nice malt and hop character without any piney-ness. Appropriate carbonation and medium full bodied. Great stuff - will get some more.
