Great espresso flavor but not over bearing. A semi complex after-taste. Nice rich very dark brown coloring to the poured head. Pitch black body. Aroma is a bit lacking; barley existing. However, a good beer all around. Tasty and satisfying.

When it warms up a bit it really opens up. Great expresso taste. Pours like oil.

Black as night. Thick and creamy. The espresso starts off each sip and the oak lingers with each swallow. Great beer anytime but goes especially well with breakfast or dessert.

Wow! Strong vanilla espresso flavor. Very delicious but a sipper. Slipper mouthfeel, very good. Bottle, Aug 2013.

This is an amazing beer to sip and savor. Very strong espresso malt with some alcohol bite and balanced oak finish. Heavy mouth feel. As good as it is, difficult to finish more than one in a sitting.

Very strong in coffee flavor that lends itself to dessert pairing. Was really wanting a tiramisu to go with my drink!
