Bitter aftertaste lasts quite a bit.
Really good IPA but personally prefer Nelson.
DaxAttack - June 7, 2013Beautiful pine and hop aroma. Front tongue taste of the hops then its gone, then comes back tongue bitterness. Tasty sweetness that matches a bit of the nose. Complex, layered, but a thread throughout. One of the top beers at alpine, characteristically different than Nelson. Simple, but a ton to offer

Todd T - January 13, 2013Moderate 1 finger head with little retention. Pale orange and obviously filtered because it is extremely clear. Incredible nose full of citrus ..... Orange, grapefruit, possibly mango or papaya with a nice bit of hops. Taste is super smooth and nicely balanced. Big citrus profile with a great hop combination. This is a world class IPA which ranks among the best I have ever had.
