TearsforBeers - April 19, 2014That caught me off guard , great beer for a lager nice slight hops in it which was great and not overly hopped!! Truly enjoyed this style of beer . Well done
jaywill1323 - April 19, 2014Pours a clear copper in color with 1-2 fingers of white frothy head that dissipates into a thick coating of lacing on the glass. Smells very clean and crisp with a subtle hop note. An interesting take on an ipa, blends the crispness of a common lager with a bitter hop bite. Neither style is very pronounced, won't wow you but it is enjoyable. I think sam adams double agent ipl is better but this one is ok. Falls a little flat on the finish, kind of like a slightly bitter hoppy lager or pilsener.
