bockboy@att.net - April 11, 2018A. Medium heavy bodied coffee roasty stout. Some alcohol noticeable, like drinking a cold pressed French roast coffee with a tiny shot of bourbon.
zomerhouse - January 12, 2014Pours thick and black, fat head. Smooth and creamy, strong coffee nose, coffee taste followed by chocolate with some licorice. Very warm and boozy. One of my new favorite stouts. Righteous!!

specksofdust - July 12, 2013The smell is deceiving - earthy, like soil, almost fungal. The taste, however, is a powerhouse of chocolate and roasty malts. I really like this. Finish is dry. This beer is a little bit like my personal heroin. Can't get enough.
