Good notes, not overly aggressive, satisfying.

clockworkbuddha - December 11, 2011Dark color, of course. Nice roasted flavor. Sweet syrupy roasted malt at the start, followed by alcohol bite and a bit of astringency. Hops follow fast and linger with a long finish. Lightly carbonated, light lacing. Improved as it warmed and seemed best at around 53 deg F.
8.75% ABV. 90 IBUs.
