12/1/2017 TnF Slight bourbon aroma, but not much bourbon flavor. Too much roasted malts.

Very similar to a dry Merlot in taste, layered depth, interesting, full bodied brew

Woah, strong, not my cup of brew. Bottle, home, Mar. 2015.

No carbonation, very smooth. Mid bodied. Bourbon upfront, followed by nice bitterness, flavor doesn't last too long. Could taste alcohol. 3.4

Very roasty. Not overpowered by bourbon. Pretty decent imperial stout.

Very roasty. Not overpowered by bourbon. Alcohol is well hidden in this brew. Pretty descent imperial stout.

Needed something to kill the new year hangover. This was a great beer to start the new year on. Although it was $10 I felt a splurge was necessary. Great taste for being brewed in ol bourbon barrels, whatever that means. I've always been a fan of imperial stouts but I don't seem to drink them enough. Nice roasty flav
