Hazy amber colour with a nice white head of normal retention and thick, sticky lace. Nose is lightly of leathery and sweaty yeast with stronger malty sweet honey notes, with just faint traces of floral hops and woody oak. Taste is cherry and malty sweet up front with just light citrus and kumquat in the lightly drying but mostly sweet lingering finish. Mouth is medium bodied with a sticky fully carbonated intensity. Nowhere near as intense as the advertised 100 IBU portended, yet with live yeast this brew is an anomaly and it is quite interesting for its hybridity.
