spark540 - October 31, 2014This comes from the De Ryck brewey in Belgium. Apparently it's won a bronze medal at the world beer cup in '06 and '08 in the Belgian & French style ale category...apparently. This is a murky tannish/brown color ale with minimal head. Fruity and almost acidic aroma. Moderate carbonation adds to the crispness. Subtle orange notes, slightly tart and bitter. Small amount of coffee ground looking sediment. This is very easy to drink which is enhanced by the paltry 5.5% abv. A refreshing option but definitely not for me. I'm surprised I actually finished it.
