Not sure of the bottle age. Typical dark pour with a 1 finger khaki bubbly head. Chocolate and dark fruits along with a hint of coffee. Definitely taste coffee and dark fruits! Can't go wrong getting this. Very solid!

Slight carbonation, not as smooth. Burnt & bitter. Strong alc taste. Mid body, but carb hides it. Too much burnt flavor, would like more sweetness. 3.4

Very dark and rich, with a deep fruity taste. Very intense.

This is a remarkable brew. Caramel, coffee, chocolate, malts, and a spectacular long-lasting smoky finish. A classic.

It's well crafted but there are a lot of other well crafted beers for less money. Should be outstanding for the price.
