Feels like a a combo of smokey porter and a stout. Light ending.

Not bad, I can taste the 7.5% alcohol. Drinks smooth

A very dark somewhat heavy beer with an enjoyable aroma and taste - not bitter but very tasty and dark, chocolate and coffee flavored.

Heavy malty taste but not bitter. A chocolaty coffee taste that's fairly smooth. Would drink again but one would be my limit.

July 2012; 12oz bottle into pint glass. Good not great stout. A little too smoky for me. Good mouthfeel but a little thin for my liking.

Not bad but average overall. Thick malt taste and smoky overtones. Good smell. Decent winter beer.

Very malty. Not sweet. Strong beer aroma. Better after it warmed, but still bitter aftertaste. Had one on tap with a completely different experience delicious, creamy, and sweet. Definitely one to try again!
