Delicious. Nice balanced and malty. Strong coffee taste, strong alcohol scent. Subtly sweet.

Head: like basically none. Thinnest head I've ever seen. Color: Dark brown; with all the visible bubbles, looks like a cola. Nose: malty, sweet, carmel Taste: very pronounced being chocolate flavor. The most obvious chocolate taste I've ever encountered in a beer. More bitter than Old Rasputin, less sweet (but still has a chocolatey, carmel sweetness) and much thinner in mouthfeel compared to O.R. A complex taste, though, slightly herby, very spicey.

A. Really rich and well balanced. A bit of a bittersweet chocolate flavor. Not much alcohol presence for the 10 abv listed.

Dark roasted, leathery tobacco flavors. Very rich, but the alcohol isn't present.

The best stout ever. I've had many, brewed many, but this is my all time favorite.

On cask, first time ever in US. Come rely black, short head. Understated chocolate nose. Smooth entry that builds to a warm roasted nutty flavor with a nice sweetness. Superbly smooth for a stout but with a deep flavor. Long finish with some licorice and a little bitterness. Perhaps the best stout I've ever had.

Smelled chocolatey. Was thick with a strong flavor and slight bitter after taste. Very nice.
