Full bodied and very malty with a lot of sweet cherry and plum notes. Rich, amber color with a pleasant amount of carbonation and a sweet, boozy, mouth coating aftertaste.

This is officially my favorite beer from Flying Dog Brewery. Flavored to the max almost like a caramel coffee. No bitter after bite which is a plus. I was unable to acquire it in a 6 pack regrettably but if I see it somewhere in this godforsaken state of New Jersey I will definitely extract it and savior each individual beer. The tip of the cap goes to you Brewers at Flying Dog however you guys needs to preach this to your field reps supplying the stores. Really wtf?!

The bottle I had was a little old. The coffee and chocolate flavors had faded somewhat and I was left with those muted flavors with a touch of oak and a mild cranberry/apple fruitiness. Still pretty good but I'm sure it's much better fresh.

Bit of a coffee flavor, which is odd for what is classified as an American Amber. Pretty good. I would definitely get this again, but it's not anywhere near top of my list.

One of the best ales I've tried. A curious interesting note of something at the end. Would have to try another to identify it, but it's very good

Ehh. Had the full mouth feel of a smooth stout and slight rooted malt flavor. But overall was pretty unimpressive.

A nice coffee style brown ale (I would say it is but the brewery doesn't give it a style). Has a nice malty finish.
