Slightly spicy start, strong coffee and smokey flavor. Some chocolate notes. Bitter coffee finish. Creamy mouthfeel, medium to fully bodied. Light carbonation. Overall complex, unique beer.

Heavy mouthfeel. Licorice, star anise flavors dominate. Long lasting bitterness and astringency. Lots of flavor, and good while sipped slow. Very enjoyable beer.
