An ok ale without enough depth of character to recommend buying it a second time. Not enough chocolate, body, or much else. Compares to Unibroues Trois Pistoles, but it would be like that beer watered down.

Smells of chocolate. Tastes more like a caramel Flemish sour beer. Very smooth and refreshing.

I'm a HUGE fan!! It's not what most people expect when you hear chocolate associated with beer, but I think it's got such a unique combination of flavored. So well done!

Not bad, but not worthy of the Smokestack Series name. The chocolate taste is faint, and the nose is weak. At least it's 9.1
