Its coppery color and sweet, fruity taste make it a articular early tasty dark ale.

d-brew - January 17, 2016One of my favorite beers. Surprisingly smooth and pure. I like this better than the Grand Reserve because it's a little lighter.
Beerguy33 - December 30, 201512/30/15 - Tasting in HB. 12oz bottle into a goblet. Small off white head that disappeared quickly. Pours a dark copper/light burgundy hazy color. High carbonation and body. Aroma is malt, yeast, figs, raisins, sweet, apricots. Taste is brown sugar, raisins, caramel. Great beer, world class!

diana@ubillafamily.net - November 13, 2015I don't like it but don't know enough to adequately describe why- it's 'yeasty'...strange taste and after taste and hard to enjoy. I've really liked the other chinmays I've had.
