A very strong beer that has a malty taste. The high alcohol content along with the slight taste of hops gives this beer a more even taste. Very smooth and dark in color. A favorite of mine.

Good compared to other beer styles, but if compared to other Belgian beers, it is average and usually very expensive. Definitely try it, but for an everyday drinker, go with Grimbergen Double or something you can find in a six pack.

Very nice Belgian beer. Extremely smooth even with high alc content. This is a must drink beer for every beer lover. Dark color but not heavy.

Delicious Belgium beer. Beautiful dark beer. Sweet but not too sweet. Yum. Drink often.

This Belgian beer is like drinking a sublime, subtle, yeasty raisin bread. What you get on the nose you taste on the palette. Absolutely no bitterness on the back end, just a smooth top-notch Belgian session. This ale is also called Blue and has a 9% ABV. Be careful, because it's clean on the palette and will sneak up on you. Lots of fuzzy carbonation with an awesome, meringue-like head. I like this at room temperature as it allows flavor release up front. Not cheap, but worth the money. Yum.
