This beer is as black as midnight on a blue moon. Unlike Guinness, it doesn't remind me of coffee. It's all stout and chocolate with a very powerful, bitter aftertaste.

Dig it. Heavy roast, ultra darks an uber smooth.

Good flavor but ABV just to high, don't like to taste alcohol in my beer

Wow! This is a great beer! Dark, slightly bitter, and a nice high ABV bite.

Chocolatey for sure, decent. On tap at NOLA Beer Fest, November 2012.

Strong, dark chocolate, coffee hint. Nice finish. We'll balanced. Pretty darn good.

Boozy but solid chocolate flavor. Not much head. Looking forward to how it tastes with some age. Very solid though!

Notes of burnt grain, chocolate, and coffee, with a thick creamy body and a warming alcohol finish. One of my all time favorite Russian imperial stouts!

Very good Imperial Stout. I've had the Yeti and it was a bit too potent for me, but the Brooklyn Brewery seemed to have nailed it. It has a smokey, dark chocolate taste that is very smooth going down. It also has just the right amount of bitter necessary for a stout.
