Smooth brown with a bit of hops at the end. Very light brown ale. Seems like a good session brew.

Slight bit of fruit on the nose with caramel notes. Hoppier on the front than most browns. Taste of dates and raisin along with malt flavor. Finishes well but doesn't linger

Pretty simple brown ale with a slight hoppy finish. Malts shine through, but not as pronounced as expected. Refreshing on a hot day.

Smells raisiny with a good malt bill. Pours a clearish brown with a two finger head on a strong pour. First sip is pretty watery, and the bitterness of this one is a bit too strong. The aftertaste is not sweet at all. 2/5, won't buy again

This is the first beer that I can actually taste the carmel hint that unfortunately doesn't help the overall flavor of this brew. Serving it in a chilled glass does more harm than good for this brown ale that makes a rich fluffy head that invokes a smile to any beer drinkers face. That smile diminishes just a bit upon the first taste but thankfully doesn't turn into a frown. Anchor Steam has an above average beer with Brekle's but I've had much better malts elsewhere.

Nice brown copper color. Sweet malt and caramel nose. Love the subtle hops after the malt sweetness. Nice single malt. Good Shit!!
