I was not impressed with this beer. I like Starr hill, but this has a funny aroma and odd taste. I'll stick with the Double Platinum.

Good porter with dark yet sweet tones. Finishes smooth not bitter. It would be a good straight porter. Not sure that it is truly a good fall special brew.

I have never had a great pumpkin beer...this helps me continue to believe this. Too spicy.

Pours chocolate brown with 1" off-white head. Minimal lacing. Decent porter with pumpkin and spice overtones. A bit sweeter, and thinner bodied,than a standard porter. Has a bit of an odd aftertaste.

Second time around I could pick up a little bit of the pumpkin flavor, smell of nutmeg and maybe some smokey coffee flavors. Good thing is that is not very "heavy"" for a porter

Hard to pick up the pumpkin flavor. More smokey than pumpkin flavor. Mild flavor with a light bitter/smokey flavor
